Holiday Purchasing & Accounting
(continued)

S: We got Mommakitty's gift . . . it's a cool lunchbox with kitties on it!

K: And the kitties are all glittery . . . ooooh, she's gonna love it! Look at the close up of a glittery kitty;

S: I inspected it to make sure it was in perfect condition.

K: We thought this was kinda like a can, like we got Daddykitty, so we decided to put something inside it. Daddykitty got some yarn with a kitty on it - see . . .

S: And he said he would pay for the yarn so we only had to pay for the lunchbox! It cost $8.64 (including tax). We thought it was a good thing that we spent more on Mommakitty - you girls understand!

K: So at the last accounting we had $20.97, now minus the $8.64 . . . we have $12.33 left! We got some good advice from some cat accountants. We were advised to keep some in savings, and then put some into charity.

S: We're gonna keep $2.33 in our savings, and put $10.00 towards a charity - now we just gots to decide which charity . . .

Peace, like charity, begins at home.

You two are great picker outers. Me and Mom love the glitter kitty lunchbox. It's pretty and practical. Your Daddykitty was very thoughtful to include the yarn. Yarn is pretty and practical too. Your Mommykitty will love them both. Also I think you got some very good financial advise. Your advisor is very wise. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all.

You are two very clever Cats. Being able to add and subtract and all. All I know is that when it comes to treats, Dad has more and I have less. Meaning he holds out on Me by rationing them.

You two are very savvy financiers. Maybe you should be the treasurers or accountants of the cat blogging community. i never have any money so I have to rely on the humans to buy catfood.

You are both very wise and generous and must be working with a very savy financial advisor. Did you get any good tips on where to invest the remaining $2.33? -- Alberta, Sky, Blackie, Charlie and Maggie Fu

You two certainly have the Christmas spirit. What a nice gift for your Mama--and we liked the gift you picked out for your Daddy too. You were very thrifty to do all that saving all year long to have money for presents.

That's sooooo cute! My mom has a notebook that looks just like that...

I also wanted to say a big THANK YOU for letting my mom know about the comment-crapping-out issue. I think she's fixed it now...

I'm sure your Mom will love her lunchbox and yarn. Maybe she'll crochet something for you guys!

Our Mom says she used to have a square, metal lunchbox when she was a little girl, but it didn't have kitties on it so it wasn't as cool as the one you bought.

Love,
Tipper
