Wacky Wednesday
& Gift Report

K: So now it's time to report on our great Christmas pressies! I got to play "Santa" and pass out the pressies . . .
K: And guess what our first pressie was? A Scratch-O-Rama mat! Yes, yes, YES!

S: Just what we asked for! This pressie was the bomb! Like our wacky poses? It's the nip infused into the mat!

K: We also got a harness to go for a walk outside (another dream of ours) - it was very cool . . . lots of new smells and things to see . . . like this bunny. He wasn't furry friendly though (rather cold and stone-faced).

S: I'm not sure I liked being outside . . . especially when I heard the neighbor's dog barking at us. I was ready to go back in really quick! I think there's a reason Mommakitty left the tag on it . . . I think we should still try a stroller (hint, hint).

K: We also got lots of toys - balls, fev-ver mousies, nip-toys, nip, furry stick! And we got to eat some Stinky Goodness - except Sabi played too hard right after he ate it and hurled in 5 different places (hahahaha)! Mommakitty & Daddykitty really liked the gifts we got them too! Here's a photo montage of our day (except without the cat puke);

K: But you know the best part of Christmas Day? We found out that our nomination of Mommakitty made it as a finalist in the "Food Lady of the Yeer" contest! We gets a free Skeezix wall calendar, and we're gonna give it to Mommakitty to put in her new office for the little kids to look at! This was also on our wish list but Mommakitty forgot to order it . . . so this worked out great!

S: It was a wonderful day - we were pooped before lunch!

K: We hope you all had a wonderful holiday - whatever you celebrated! We appreciate all the visitors this past week - come back soon!

S: Come visit us on Friday . . . "FAMILY FRIDAY" . . . we're gonna introduce some of our cousins from Michigan!

Joy is the feeling of grinning inside.

Meowy Cat-mas! I got a burlap sack with catnip trapped inside that says "Catnip, 50 lbs" (but it barely weighs an ounce) and I fell asleep on the back porch.

Great Christmas photos! That scratching mat looks great! I have a harness, but I'm only allowed to go outside on it in the summer - even though it's warm out for December in Munich, it's too cold for me without any fur.

Enjoy your Christmas gifts. :) Happy Holidays! :)

It looks like a great holiday. I'm not sure about the harness thing. I'd hate to be confined in that manner...

Wow-y-wow that's some cool stuff. We hope you guys and mom and dad are ok. We had really high winds and lost one of our plum trees. Stay dry!

I am so glad that you had such a great Christmas. I'll have to keep those mats in mind for my kitty friends. Do you think that a declawed cat could have fun with one? He likes nip, but can only pretend-scratch. He does that (pretend-scratch) a lot.

Congrats on being a finalist in Skeezy's contest!

Well deserved! Ma rescued me and the kitty before me from her own yard as we were strays. Of course you know who rules the house here?! : )
