Maw told us to pass along that in addition to the Old English scratch coverererer, there are filler sticks that can be purchased at like Ace Hardware or Elliot's Hardware. They are waxy and fill deep scratches and come in a gazillion colors. There are also wood markers that are just like ink markers but come in a variety of wood colors. Hardware store again. The furniture repair man told her about these things and she has a LOT of them cause 40 paws can do a lot of accidental scratching....
But she also has the Old English 'cause she is like a 100 years old and her maw is like 200 years old and so grandma used it too.
