Tips for Makin' Valentine's Cards
K: Do yer research. Learn about yer Valentine (favorite colors, etc.). As you all saw from yesterday, I've been reading up on things.
S: Make it sweet! Maybe get some candy hearts - I don't know what these say, but they look yummy!
K: If you use flowers on yer card, find out what they mean first. Don't embarrass yerself or get in too deep! Here is a linky: Common Meanings of Rose ColorsS: Write some nice words - like a cute rhyme or poem or licorice.
K: Ummm . . . I think you mean limerick.
S: Whatever.
K: Don't stress about comparing yer Valentine to other's - Mommakitty says art can't be measured - we are ALL arteests, whether yer a gutter cat or snoopervisor.
S: Even if yer beans have an art degree (like Mommakitty) you may need to give them art direction, 'cause only kitties know what kitties like.
K: Make yer beans do the work - that's what they're for! You can dictate to them what to write, but it should come from yer kitty heart.
S: Make time for nappin', so you has fresh ideas.
K: Post yer Valentine's cards on Skeezix's Valentine's Kontest page so yer sweethearts can sees them!
S: Practice yer huggin' - it may come in handy!

Those are some really great tips! Kimo and Sabi, you are wonderful mentors for all of us cats. First you helped us get prepared for the Superbowl, and now we got great tips for Valentine's cards. You are very smart!

That's excellent advice guys. I'm much more of a manager and snoopervisor than I am an artist so it's difficult for me to put artistic talents out there.
