TT #12

We will be taking a blogging break for da next few days 'cause we're helpin' Mommakitty get ready fer da Grand Opening of da Sonoma Kinship Center! She is da new Director and has lots to do to get ready fer this week's events. Check out her website (which she created) at www.SonomaKinship.org (more info at end of post).

About Our Mommakitty


1) Mommakitty was adopted as a baby (just like us) and is a native Californian.
2) She loves parades (like da Butter & Egg Days Parade in our town).
3) She learned to paint when she lived in Japan for a few years as a little girl.
4) She has a B.S. Degree in Graphic Design and runs a home-based art business.

5) She has a M.S. Degree in Counseling Psych. and is a licensed therapist (MFT).
6) She likes likes Cheese-its, Reeses Peanut Butter Cups, and Pepsi.
7) She enjoys knitting, sewing, reading, blogging, and napping (like us).

8) She is a Chi Omega alumna (Iota Delta Chapter).
9) She volunteers and is member of the Junior-League of Napa-Sonoma.
10) Her favorite color is purple - but she likes all colors!

(Yup - she actually wears these shoes!)

11) She plays the guitar (and tries to play da piano).
12) She put herself through college by being a commercial model / actress / voice over artist. She also managed a comedy nightlclub and was a snow ski instructor & guide for the visually impaired.
13) She loves cats (duh) and collects cat stuff.

I collect cats too, like your mummy, since at least 30 years (doesn't make me any younger, lol) and I have more than 350 (the last time my son counted 2 years ago !) from semi-precious cats to the toilet brush support, everything is represented !

I collect all cat-things too--actually, I don't have to, people buy them for me now! I draw, but can't paint--would draw my cats but I could never do them justice.

We'z a family of 'dopteds. Both of our beans sisfurs are 'dopted (dey is reely moms nieces and natural sisfurs) and we cats are all 'dopted (duh). Mom and dad always have a pile of kids in dis howse on Saturdays. Dey all come running when dad is outside cuz he's nuthing but a big kid hisself. Oh, and mom usta paint grate big pikshers on da gerls walls! She wood paint over dem and change dem effury two years! Yoor momma kitty rocks, we reely beleeve in relatives taking care of family members.

our mommy was 'dopted too! she was 4 days old when she was 'dopted by her mommy and daddy.

our mommy is a sorority alumna too - 'cept hers is Theta Phi Alpha - Kappa Chapter (she says her chapter was founded in 1922!!!)

What a coincidence, guys. Our Sister B who got married last year is a Chi Omega too, from Carroll College in Waukesha, WI and our Mom collect cat stuff too. But I suppose every cat Mom collects cat stuff!

WOWIE ZOWIE!!! The Food Lady is sallyvating over thoze byootiful kyoot shoos that yer Mammokitty has! We both think thare the most byootiful shoos we've ever seen!

We also LOVE LOVE LOVE that watercolor! Yer mom is vary vary vary multi-talinted. My Food Lady can play the nose flute and the kazoo, but both of them sownd like space aliens passing gas.
