How do you achieve balance in your life?
Well, da ways I sees it . . . you gots to have da YIN-YANG thing goin’ on. Here is a good definition:
The Yin-Yang symbol represents the ancient Chinese understanding of how things work. The black and white shapes within the circle represent the interaction of two energies, called "yin" (black) and "yang" (white), which cause everything to happen. They are not completely black or white, just as things in life are not completely black or white, and they cannot exist without each other. Now, I used to think everything was black & white, like me. But then I noticed, hey . . . I’ve got a pink nose and green eyes, so I’m not really all black and white. So I guess it’s true, when they says “things in life are not completely black or white.”
While "yin" would be dark, passive, downward, cold, contracting, and weak, "yang" would be bright, active, upward, hot, expanding, and strong. The shape of the yin and yang sections of the symbol, actually gives you a sense of the continual movement of these two energies, yin to yang and yang to yin, causing everything to happen.
Now, an example of how I use da YIN-YANG thing;
Example: When Kimo has something I want, that’s the YIN stuff goin’ on. And when I gets that thing fer myself, that’s da YANG thing. When he’s steals it back, that’s the YIN again . . . then I get’s it back again, and that’s the YANG again! The “interaction of two energies” and “a sense of the continual movement of these two energies.” It’s really not so complicated.
What is your biggest challenge in balancing your life?
Paying attention . . . hey, what was that? . . .
be right back . . .um, sorry about that . . .
what was da question?
What are your priorities?
Keeping physically fit so’s I can wrestle stuff away from Kimo. As I clearly described in my first example, da pre-wrestle would be da YIN (da darkness of not having something Kimo has). Then the post-wrestle would be da YANG (the lightness I feel when I wrestle da thing away from Kimo) . . . and so on - it's a continuum.
How have your priorities changed over time and why?
I am only 2 years old, they have not changed much. Plus da YIN-YANG concept has been around fer centuries, so if it aint broke, don’t fix it.
What advice can you share to help all of us balance our own lives?
Pay attention more and keep up wif da YIN-YANG thing – that’s all, easy-peasy.
So, that's it right? Was I supposed to do something else? Hey, . . . Kimo, come here . . . let me see what you got . . .
between what people need from you
and what you need for yourself.

You have explained the yin-yang concept so well that I now feel better when I want a treat my brother has, when I steal it away and when I enjoy eating it!
Thanks!

I don't know much about that yin and yang thing. Monica and I share things pretty well. I usually wait until she is done with something before I use it.
Hey, cool beanz! That's really cool, the yin and yang thang. You're a real smart kittycat. I'll have to remember the yin and yang thang when I'm rasslin' with Brainball. If she has my yin thang, I'll get it and make it my yang thang.
Or somethin' like that. Hey, I'm a Meezer with a Chinese name -- I oughta study up on this stuff, hehehehe.
Thanks for participating in the meme and sharing the great ying-yang advice!
