Sabi: It was made especially fer us by Millie's mom who makes original custom quilts fer pets - specifically wif our purrrsonalities and favorite colors in mind!
Kimo: It's called a Gizzy Quilt. Originally (pun intended) Millie's mom made and sold these quilts to help pay fer Gizzy's vet bills when he was sick. Sadly, Gizzy crossed to da Rainbow Bridge last April.
Sabi: Now, Millie's mom makes da quilts to raise monies fer good causes. Go visit their quilt bloggie and website and see all da great quilts - maybe you'll buy one too!

that is a lovely quilt. quilt-making is popular in the States isn;t it? it's not such a popular pass time here in the UK at all - i think knitting maybe the most popular homecraft...i may be wrong though. my mum is a techie geek so wouldn;t know much more beyond sewing a button on x

that is very original! mommy spent all my holiday Gizzy money on the shelter fundraiser, but she says she will get me my very own quilt i can use all year round soon.
guess where my daddy is....VEGAS! yup, he is there with 12 guys for a bachelor party. mommy said something about maybe needing my quilt money for "bale" but I don't know what hay has to do with my quilt....
i hope your mommy is feeling better and my daddy doesn't come home with a cold!

Yoor Gizzy Kwilt is beyootiful, ours is too...in fact, dey is all beyootiful. Dad used one to cover his feets last night, we want mom to wash it so we can put our own stinks back on it.

No wonder you love that quilt - it's beautiful. My Leo and Liberty usually prefer faux fur to quilts, but I'm sure they'd change their minds if they had a quilt like yours.
