P.S.S. - California Earthshake Update: some of you may have heard about da earthshake last night. A magnitude-5.6 earthquake shook the Bay Area (Caliveras fault) near San Jose, rattling homes and nerves, but there were no immediate reports of serious damage or injuries. We (in our house) are all OK (we didn't even feel it). We has shown on da map where some other cats live, and they should be OK too (Skeezix may have peed his pants a little).
Blue = Kimo & Sabi
Black = Max & Buddah
Red = Diva Kitty & Da Fluffies
Pink = Skeezix, Mao, Rocky, Tripper
Purple = Tara & Kavan
Green Square = Earthshake Epicenter
*Lord Jaders (our cousin) is off da map - more southeast. They don't git many earthyshakes - mostly dustystorms.

Ooooh, we'z glad all our frends are safe, earthshakes scare us. See, we knew from all da little things dat yoo mite be getting a little blurpy thing. None of us here ever saw one until da bean gerls started bring dem here...der's three now and another one is coming in a few weeks. Know what...we love dem! If da beans teach dem "nice, nice" and "pet, pet" dey is grate fur a nice rubby and even better, dey drop a lot of FOOOD!

I am glad no one was hurt and that there appears to be no damage...Calleeeefornia has had enough bad stuff happen for a long long long time.
That is a good map, it helps us work out where everyone lives. I am glad none of you were affected by the earthquake. Now I know where to find you when I come over to visit!

We DID feel the earthquake, big time! Mom was still in the plane, but it shook us and Dad pretty good. It even widened a plaster crack, and Mom found plaster on the floor when we got home!

Hi Kimo and Sabi. I am your neighbor too - I live in San Francisco! We felt the quake here. My people jumped up when they saw me wake up as the quake jiggled our house. Happy Halloween to you! Also a burpy thing is always a good addition to the household.

We get earthquakes too - dems not scary. By the time you figured out you are shaking it is usually all over. But I am glad youse are all ok.
