Kimo: Some of you have been wonderin' why our beans is gonna be gone fer a whole month.
Sabi: Well, a lot has to do wif da blurpy gurl adoption process.
Kimo: Da birthmommy in Vegas can't sign paperwerk until 72 hrs after da birth.
Sabi: Then, Nevada peoples gots to talk to California peoples and swap paperwerk to make sure everything is okie dokey.
Kimo: Da beans can't cross state line untill all da paperwerk is cleared.
Sabi: Because everything is happening so close to Christmas, one of two things could happen;
1) da paperwerk will git pushed through really fast so da paper-pushers can git it done before Christmas,
2) da paperwerk will sit on some paper-pusher's desk until after Christmas.
Kimo: Anyhoo, . . . as soon as da beans can leave da state wif blurpy gurl, they will go immediately to da woofie fambly in Bakersfield. Hopefully that will happen in time to spend Christmas wif fambly.
Sabi: Werst case scenario, da woofy fambly will go to Vegas to spend Christmas wif da beans and blurpy gurl.
Kimo: Then da beans won't return home until after Christmas. Mommakitty wants to be back by 1/7/08 at da latest.
Sabi: Mommakitty says she needs us mancats to stay at home to "hold down da fort."
Kimo: In other news - we gots a Golden Rose from Tigger & Samantha!
Kimo: We would like to give da roses to da Cat Blogosphere and all da Cat Repurrrters (that's gotta be more than 6). They all deserve big hugs fer all their sincere, hard werk keeping all us cats "in da know."
Sabi: It all started wif Miss Peach, who gave a bouquet of GOLDEN ROSES to her mommy fer her birthday. These are magic roses, and if you put your rose in water overnight, there will be six roses there in the morning for you to share with who ever you think has a PEACHY HEART OF GOLD. Her hope is that this golden rose will be on each blog in the Blogosphere!

Oh, see, we furgots about all dat paperwork...beans and der paper shuffling! Sadie was thinking it was gonna take dat long fur da lady to push da baby out and dat would be furry bad! We hope dat all dat paper work gets done afore Krissmouse so effuryone can enjoy it wif da new blurpy gerl! Dis is furry aciting.

hehe, Kimo and Sabi, I have to laff cause my momma sez the furry same thing to me and Brainball when her and Daddy go somewhere: "Hold down the fort!" She sez "I love you" and "Be good" to all of and gives us all kissies, but she sez "Hold down the fort" to me and Brainball cuz we're the mancats.
We Ballicai are purrin and purrin fur things to go smoothly with yur new little blurpy sistur, and we're so ecksited fur you fellers and for yur wunnerful beans! They're gonna be superduper parents and you two are gonna be superduper brothurs.
