Kimo: Holy Cannoli! (whutever that means) Yesterday we learned that a lady in Petaluma (our town) won da California state lottery of 80+Squillion Dollars! We thought . . . could it be . . .
Sabi: Now, you gots to unnerstand . . . our beans is not gamblers . . . but Mommakitty, who hadn't bought a lotto ticket in over 5 years, decided to git one on Wednesday.
Kimo: So, of course, our first thought wuz . . . WE IS SQUILLIONNAIRES!
Sabi: We didn't hear da news 'till Thurday that da winner wuz even in our city - so, we bugged Mommakitty to check her numbers. Da TV news beans even said da winning ticket wuz from da store where our beans buys our groceries!Kimo: Alas . . . Mommakitty did not win. Some lady who has NEVER played da lotto in her entire life (so she says) wuz da big freekin' winner.
Sabi: Can you imgine whut we could have bought wif that kinda green papers? That lady probably doesn't even have any cats to share da winnings wif. Whut a tragedy.
Kimo: I would have flown all da cat bloggers out to California to celebrate - there would have even been enough green papers to send their beans too!
Sabi: Wowy - I can't even imagine whut I would have bought . . . makes my head spin.
Kimo: That's da nip you just inhaled.

Whooo, yoo hadded our hearts racing for a minit der. Bye da way, cannoli's is deelish. Dey is fried pastry shaped like a tube and stuffed wif marz-capone or ricota cheese dat is sweetened and has chopped fruit, nuts and sometime chocolate (but not when mom makes it) in it.

How dissapointing! We went through the same thing when someone in our state won $270 million squillion dollars but alas, it was not our beans.

I am upset that Mommakitty didn't win. I can't think of any other bean more worthy of winning . . . unless it is daddykitty. But hey, mommy tells us all the time we should try to win, but never buys a ticket. Can you imagine what it would be like to have all that money?! Think of all the fun things we could do, and all the kitties we could help . . . *sigh* I'm feeling your pain, fellas.
