Kimo: Do you remember our weener woofie cousin Rascals in Bakersfield? Well, this is his bean brother Josh (Mommakitty's nephew). This is a photo from 2 years ago when Josh wuz 16.
Sabi: Below is another photo of Josh at his 16th purrthday. Josh is a sooper dooper golfer (even though his outfit below is not a good example of proper golf attire).
Kimo: Anyhoo, whut we is here to report is Josh is such a sooper dooper golfer that he is breaking state golf records! The Bakersfield Californian newspaper wrote this article about Josh;
BARNES SETS, TIES RECORDS IN MESQUITE
Bakersfield College golfer Josh Barnes, who qualified the for State JC Championship two weeks ago, set and tied course records on a recent trip to Mesquite, Nev.
Barnes shot an 11-under 61 at The Oasis Club's Palmer Course to break the existing record of 65, the following day, shot a 64 to the record at the Wolf Creek Golf Club.
The 64 at Wolf Creek was initially thought the be the official course record, which was 65, but since there were no black markers, Barnes played what amounted to a combination of blue and black markers, so the course called it a tie with the record from the Blue markers.
Just for good measure, Barnes, who will be a sophomore at BC next year, shot a 62 at Mifflin-Buena Vista last week. Barnes made a hole-in-one on the par-3 17th, then missed a birdie chance on the 18th which would have tied the course record set by Justin Pitts last year.

*sigh* Mom is laffing hard at dat Dave Barry comment...she sez golf is a waste of purrfectly good excersize, course, she's a really bad golfer and refuses to even do it anymore. Congratulations to Josh!
