My mom set up an account because an old high school friend of hers invited her to do so, but she said she doesn't have time to do both that and the Cat Blog. I have convinced her that the Cat Blog should be her priority right now.

That is a good rule! There are far too many things on the computer that can suck up our humans' time.
No Facebook, but Mom has a MySpace account just to keep up with all of her nieces and nephews.

Mum says no way, for me or for her. Blogging is as much as we can do time wise. Mum says she has to earn a living.
We feel your pain. Mama just signed up last week. She spent all weekend messing around with her virtual puppy. The nerve! She could've been feeding us or something.

Looks like trouble to me. Mom uses Facebook to keep tabs with a few people (Dad's sister, friend's kids) and she'll check MySpace for the same reason but mainly it's my blog, their blog, Mom's recipe blog and Flickr.
