Tuxie Tuesday

I do not mean any disrespect towards my little blurpy sisser, but I think I knows why she did not win furst place in da "Cutest Chick In Town" contest.

It is no mystery that Tuxies are perfect, . . . like me fer instance. I am a Tuxie of da cow version.

Now look at da winning entry below.

Notice any resemblence? This is not brain surgery. And by da way, da contest entry could be a cow thing too cuz it's all about celebrating da butter and eggs - da butter comes from cows. Duhr.

Well, . . . maybe next year da beans will ask fer my input. Anyhoo, my little blurpy sisser is still #1 to me. If you haven't already seen her cute photos, then you should. You can scroll down to our Sunday post to see some photos and links.

Meezer Mancat Monday
On Patrols . . .

I have learned in my research about little blurpy thinigies that they are afraid of something called "Boogie Monsters." I'm not sure whut a Boogie Monster is, . . . unless yer talkin' about Sabi - cuz he's got lots of boogie crusties in his nose constantly!

Anyhoo, . . . I am on patrols lookin' fer Boogie Monsters, just to make sure we don't gots any around here that would scare my little blurpy sisser. I did not find any under da dining room table.

BTW - Whut am I supposed to do if I find one?

Tuxie Tuesday

Da gurlz from Michigan are going to San Francisco fer a day trip today. Da Olympic torch is coming to S.F. today and da torch relay will be Wednesday.

While they are out, I fink I will take da opportunity to catch up on some nappin'.

I thought if I hanged out in da stroller them gurlz would git da hint. Alas, . . . they are not familiar wif da cat stroller and they think it is a glorified cat condo (which it is on some days).

Maybe our beans will take us fer a stroll this weekend . . . it is supposed to be lovely strollering weather.

P.S. - Mommakitty, our blog slave administrative assistant, appologizes fer da fact that she has not been able to help us git around to leave comments on all yer blogs this week - she is furry busy "entertaining" and says she is limited to mostly posting.

Happy Purrthday Mommakitty!

Kimo: Today is Mommakitty's Purrthday and I am gonna let her play all day in da fun tunnel! We're pretty confused about how old young she is though. She says 29, but Daddykitty says she's been sayin' that fer da last 18 yrs. Hmmm . . .

Sabi: I baked Mommakitty a funny cake cuz she gots a funny sense of humor! It's a litter box cake!

Recipe Fer a Kitty Litter Cake:

Ingredients:
1 (18.25 ounce) package German chocolate cake mix
1 (18.25 ounce) package white cake mix
2 (3.5 ounce) packages instant vanilla pudding mix
1 (12 ounce) package vanilla sandwich cookies
3 drops green food coloring
1 (12 ounce) package tootsie rolls

Directions:
- Prepare cake mixes and bake according to package directions (any size pan).
- Prepare pudding according to package directions and chill until ready to assemble.
- Crumble sandwich cookies in small batches in a food processor, scraping often. Set aside all but 1/4 cup. To the 1/4 cup add a few drops of green food coloring and mix.
- When cakes are cooled to room temperature, crumble them into a large bowl. Toss with 1/2 of the remaining cookie crumbs, and the chilled pudding. You probably won’t need all of the pudding, you want the cake to be just moist, not soggy.
- Line kitty litter box with the kitty litter liner. Put cake mixture into box.
- Put half of the unwrapped tootsie rolls in a microwave safe dish and heat until softened. Shape the ends so that they are no longer blunt, and curve the tootsie rolls slightly. Bury tootsie rolls randomly in the cake and sprinkle with half of the remaining cookie crumbs.
- Sprinkle a small amount of the green colored cookie crumbs lightly over the top.
- Heat 3 or 4 of the tootsie rolls in the microwave until almost melted. Scrape them on top of the cake and sprinkle lightly with some of the green cookie crumbs. Heat the remaining tootsie rolls until pliable and shape as before. Spread all but one randomly over top of cake mixture.
- Sprinkle with any remaining cookie crumbs. Hang the remaining tootsie roll over side of litter box and sprinkle with a few green cookie crumbs.
- Serve with the pooper scooper.
Now THAT'S stinky goodness!
YUMMY!

Tuesday Tails

This is an example of classic Bakersfield woofie.

How can you tell a regular tail from a tattle tail?
