Where in da werld WUZ Mommakitty?
Kimo: Well, TWO kitteh bloggers figured out where our Mommakitty has been. Da first one wuz da Ozark Mountain Cats who said, "It's da state Capital building in Sacramento."
Sabi: But, later in the da day, Angel said, "It is the Assembly Gallery in the California State capitol!," which is EXACTLY da room in da Capitol building!
Mommakitty: What smart kitties - and they're not even from California! I will send prizes to both bloggers! Here are some more photos from the Assembly floor (click to enlarge photos) . . .
Mommakitty: I was visiting with a group of Junior Leaguers, who have a special branch of the league called S.P.A.C. (State Public Affairs Committee) - members of this committee help write laws, work with legislators, and voice non-partisan support for issues relating to women and children. If you'd like to see more photos of California's State Capitol, look at Daddykitty's photos from a trip we took back in September 2008 (included w/ photos from a Tahoe trip). It's a beautiful building - unfortunately, I have never caught a glimpse of our "Governator."

Congratulations to the kitties that guessed. Mom recognized that she had been there before, but since it was more than 20 years ago, she couldn't remember exactly where she had seen it before.

Yay! Congrats to the Ozark kitties and Angel!
Well, you sure fooled me! I thought it was a CATsle!
You have a very fancy capital building!
That was fun. Maybe I should lose my mom.

Ummm. It would seem I was on the wrong continent altogether !
That was fun! Loosing Mamakitty sounds dangerous!
Da biped's a little bit scared to give you her snail mail address. Wif your Governors popularity you might just try mailing him to us. She says she'd be happy to have Maria though.

That WAS fun. There are some pretty smart kitties on the CB.
I bet your Mom had a lot of fun. Too bad she didn't meet the Governator. If you lose your Mom again, make sure you know how to find her. (Maggie's going to start strolling with Mom and Dad, so hopefully we'll have some pictures for your stroller report.)
