This is an annual event when our town celebrates being da Chick-hen capitol of da werld! Remember when da blurp entered da "Cutest Chick" contest?!
2008 - Cutest Chick 3rd Place
Da Next year, there wuz a werl wind cat blogosphere tour, and our furriend Daisy da Curly Cat came to our town to visit . . . and she went to da da poultry farm and ated chick-hens! Luckily we gots lots of chick-hens around still.
Da blurp will not be in da contest this year - she's a little purrrsnickititty about wearing stuff (and she has da patience of a flea). But, she will be in da kid's parade wif her BFF.
We're sure to have some photos in da next few days of da event . . . and probably photos of some chick-hens!
