Our Memories of Skeezix

Today, cats (and other furry friends) all around the blogosphere are remember a great friend, Skeezix the Cat, who crossed the bridge recently.

Skeezix was one of our first cat blogging friends. He was so charming and stylish . . . and famous! He even made the paper up our way!

He helped us learn about blogging and strolling.

He taught us how to make ourselves into "flat cats" so we could teleport around the world to par-tay with our friends (that's him on the far right - the one with the stylin' pink feather boa.)

 He supported great causes, like the "Pink Ladies" who were out to save the tatas.

Our little bean girl, when she was just a little blurp, was one of the original "Friend of Skeezix" fans.

She even did a portrait of Skeezix.

We will always remember Skeezix for his thoughtfulness - he always remembered to send us and the bean girl cards for birthdays or holidays which we saved, each and every one, in a box. We have a box full of memories - and we will have a lifetime of memories too.

We love you Skeezix, and we will see you again some day buddy.
