Kimo: Go Giants! This is Snoopy (from da Peanuts comics). He is all over da town of Santa Rosa cuz da great cartoon artist Charles Schulz used to live in Santa Rosa. Mommakitty has been a Snoopy fan since she was a little gurl!

Sabi: Fer da last 3 years a Peanuts character has been chosen, and da local artists git sponsored to paint a big statue. Then they are placed around da town and it's like goin' on a scavenger hunt to find them all! Mommakitty & Daddykitty found a lots! Click on da collage below and see some more.

Kimo: Here is one that has a credit card in his paw cuz he is at da mall. Boy, Skeezix would really like this one - he's wearing pink, AND shopping (2 of Skeezix's favorite things)!

Sabi: Mommakitty used to ice skate wif da late great Charles Schulz at Snoopy's Home Ice Arena in Santa Rosa. Da ice arena is next door to da Schulz Museum. She also bought her first pair of ice skates from Mr. Schulz's daughter (who was in da Ice Capades). Another one of Mr. Schulz's daughter's boughted Mommakitty's parent's house which now gots a big Charlie Brown statue in da front yard painted like da Jolly Green Giant!

Kimo: I likes woofies and all, but one thing I was wonderin' . . . how come da Peanut's comics never hadded any cats?

Why did Snoopy quit the comic strip?
Because he was tired of working for peanuts!
