On The Road Again . . .

S:
Mommakitty & Daddykitty went away again for a few days to Seattle, WA, so we didn't get to blog last weekend. Here's Dadykitty taking lots of photos!

K: They told us that Seattle is a cat town too! Mommakitty bought a pin (below) down at the Pike's Fish Market (an open farmer's market area). The lady who made the pin, Jeannie, wrote this about her pins:

"These pins are made of clay mined by cats in the obscure parts of the Serengeti. Quality is assured by Leopards, Lions, and Leaky. All designs approved by two cat consultants. All hand building and decoration is done by human hands, as such work is beneath cats."

K: Well said!

S: Hey, can we wear tennis shoes? And by the way . . . what did they buy us in Seattle?

K: Nothing - but Mommakitty felt so guilty she bought us some crunchy treats today!

The whole object of travel is not to set foot on foreign land;
it is at last to set foot on one's own country as a foreign land.

Thanks for stopping by my blog - it's nice to meet you! That's a pretty pin your Mommakitty bought, and, certainly, such work is beneath cats. Treats are always good, though!

Oh it's a furry nice pin. I saw you comment on my friend Luxor's blog (isn't he handsome) and had to come visit. I live with a lovely chocolate point Siamese so we had to meet Kimo!

Luv the pin!!!!

My pet human has quite a collection of pins.....it's kinda her thing. But she calls them brooches.

You two sure are cute. You can visit me and my 4 feline housemates at http//kaboodlecats.blogspot.com.

My pet human was adopted. It was a closed adoption, and she in very much in favor of open adoptions.

Good luck to your pet humans in their search for a family.

That is a furry nice pin. My humans went to Seattle and to that market in 2003 but they didn't see any pins like that or they would probably have bought one.
