First, Roxy recommended starting at da Petaluma Visitor's Center. That's were to git all da info about what to do and see in Petaluma, CA.
Then we took da Road Trippers downtown where we hadded a surprise parade waiting to welcome them! It wuz a lovely 80 degrees outside!
Mickey, Beezer, Abby and Dragonheart decided to enter da Cutest
Next, we took them all to da Petaluma Historic Museum. This was da original Petaluma Library, built in 1904.
Millie wanted to go inside to see da quilts on display.
Next, we decided to show them da beautiful landscapes, like da rolling hills. Da word "Petaluma" is a coastal Miwok phrase fer, "valley of the little hills."
Skittles couldn't resist stopping to do a little yoga in da California poppies.
We hadded to remind da Road Trippers to be careful where they stepped - look out fer big cow poopies!
Diva Kitty wanted to check out Mommakitty's favorite yarn store in downtown Petaluma - Knitterly.
Pretty soon, da cats was ready fer some lunch, so we recommended da River House Restaurant, where they could git a nice brunch wif HAM! Da Mostly Black Cats, Ping, Moe & Mindy, Monte Q, Sammy & Miles and the others ran into da restaurant before we could take their picture!
Daisy was a little more interested in chicken, so she went to da a free range poulty farm fer a snack . . . I don't think we'll be allowed back there.
We're not quite sure where Lucky and Lux are, but rumors have it that they stayed back in da bus fer a little snuggle time!
Well, it was a great visit - yer all welcome to come visit us fer our town's Sesquicentennial in 2008!
Onward to visit Tara & Kavan!
P.S. - Sorry if we left any cat out, too many to keep track of.
